Privacy notice
This notice explains which personal data are processed when you visit this website or contact Dr Marco Pisaniello, for what purposes, and what your rights are, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. The Italian version of this notice prevails.

Consultations and tests
Consultations and tests take place in private practice on behalf of the Policlinico di Milano. Booking, payment, invoicing and medical records are handled by the Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, under its own privacy policy.
What data we process
- Browsing data. To make the website work, the hosting service automatically records some technical data (for example IP address, date and time of the visit, page requested, browser type). These are used only for the security and proper functioning of the website and not to identify you.
- Data you send us. If you call, send a WhatsApp message or email us, we process the data you choose to share: name, contact details, the reason for getting in touch and any information about your health.
Please do not send reports or medical documents via WhatsApp or email: it is better to bring them on the day of the visit.
Purposes and legal basis
The data you send us are used only to answer your requests and arrange an appointment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Any information about your health is processed for this purpose by a doctor bound by professional secrecy (Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR).
How long we keep data
Messages are deleted when no longer needed. Technical browsing data are kept by the hosting service for a limited period.
Who may receive the data
Data are not sold or passed on to third parties. They may be processed, only as strictly necessary, by providers of technical services: the website hosting service, the email service and WhatsApp, if you choose to use it. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, based on the safeguards provided by the GDPR.
Cookies
This website does not use profiling cookies or analytics or advertising tools, and the fonts are hosted on the website itself. For this reason no cookie consent banner is needed.
The website contains links to external services, such as Google Maps, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and the Policlinico di Milano website. When you open them, the privacy policies of those services apply.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction or deletion of your data, or restriction of processing at any time. You can also object to processing and request your data in a readable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR) by writing to marcopisaniello@gmail.com. If you believe the processing is not lawful, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
